Hello lovely people of Central Queensland! I'm delighted to announce the launch of my new venture, Our Flock, a photography business capturing portraits of families in our area!
This has been a dream of mine for a while now, and after much planning and excitement, it's finally taking flight! Naming my business was like naming a child...I mean, I imagine that's what it's like. But in the end, the answer was right there. When my husband gets home, he asks, "How's the flock going?" And just like that, Our Flock was born!
Our own little family flock here at home consists of my husband, our beloved "feather baby", Tiki, and me. In my extended family flock, I am one of five siblings, and an aunty to nine nieces and nephews, with all of us scattered across the east coast. I've always called Rocky home, even during my 2 year working holiday visa in London as a teacher.
The saying goes, "birds of a feather flock together." Life is about the connections we make with others and the most important ones are with our families with who we share our values, passions, and experiences. We all have these special connections in our lives – whether they're the families we're born into, the friends who become our chosen family, our teammates on the sporting field, fellow hobby enthusiasts, supportive colleagues, or the wonderful people we connect with in our community.
And that's exactly what Our Flock is all about. I want to capture your family flock, whatever that beautiful and unique unit looks like. It doesn't matter what brings you together – love, laughter, shared passions, or simply the joy of being in each other's company.
